Robert Krautz, PhD - Principal Investigator

Robert acquired a Diploma degree at the Julius-Maximilians University in Würzburg, obtained his PhD in Molecular Biology at Stockholm University, and worked as a PostDoc at the Gurdon Institute in Cambridge, UK, before coming to Denmark. He joined the Andersson Lab in 2019 as a PostDoc combining both his experimental and computational training. In 2024, Robert was promoted to Assistant Professor and received a Villum Young Investigator grant to start his own group at the University of Copenhagen.

Xiyin Shi, BSc - Master’s thesis student

Xiyin holds a Bachelor in statistics with a specialization in financial statistics and risk management from Donghua University, China (2023). She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics at the University of Copenhagen, specializing in the computer science track. For her Master’s thesis, she is developing analytical software for DamID high-throughput sequencing data.
